Another RakeTheRake Win

I qualified again for the RakeTheRake freeroll this december and managed to cash also adding $27.50 to my full tilt pocket. I almost bubbled out again, as usual, and never got the chance to go deep in these tourneys. Hopefully next time i place on the top 10 where the life changing money are. But it still a win though so i am very thankful about it after playing for 2.5hrs. Wish me luck again next time.

Royal Flush After 3 years

After 3 years of playing online poker, I finally caught the biggest hand on no limit texas holdem poker and doubled up my $3 buyin on the cash game!! woooohooooo!!! a very sweet win!!

Another Full Tilt win From my 4king Buddies

Another win from our team tourney on 4kingpoker where our team ROUNDERS is currently at the top spot above all other teams... and im sitting as well on the top position tied with a really good player DeepChapChopra. hope my good run on this league continues and that our team maintains our position including mine.

My $35,000 Freeroll Experience

This was a second chance for me to be qualified for the raketherake's monthly promo,
a $35,000 Freeroll for earning 500 full tilt points in 1 month. 1st time i got qualified
was that i only needed 1 point... i never cash on that one.

but today, after a long wait... finally we started the tourney with a couple of sitouts.
i guess those guys have enough BR goin' for them to forget such a tourney. anyways,
i played tight for the whole session... folding a lot of good hands out of position. stacks
of mine is like a heartbeat goin' up and down. i got to double up to 2600 chips and went
as low as 800. a lot of bully players knowing how tight i played. even if i raised 3x or 5x the
bb... they would reraise me still for a steal. they are always glad i folded. turning point of
my game was when i was in mid position with TT, i raised 3bb and small blind calls. flop
was 379... small blind goes allin in with 1800 and which covered my remaining 780 chips.
i knew he was bluffing to i pushed as well... he showed AKs. my TT held and doubled up
my chips to 2600...

another big win for me was when i had an AQo, blinds are already way up
to 300/600 50 ante. i raised 4bb in mid pos and the button called. flop was like 626... with
less than 2bb left i pushed and prayed for luck... he called with a 77. my jaw dropped seeing
those PP in my face. but with the turn came a Q(a very beautiful Queen!!LOL) my heart
eased down... and an A on the river just calmed me a lot.

from then on i played no hands anymore with 4800 chips with only 10 players left to the money, i folded my way just to get to the cash... i made it of course and will now enjoy those winnings on cash game to build my points again for next month's raketherake $35k FR. i just hope i would make it to the cash again or go even more deeper in the ranks... wish me luck!!!

My $1000 Challenge - ends

well, i tried my best to reach the target but unavoidable circumstances lead me to give up on the challenge. i stop with my bankroll reaching only a max of $119 but currently ending my challenge at $104. i will be withdrawing most of these earnings for my family needs... it may not be much but it would be a big help.

next challenge would probably be a quest to $100(a much easier one..LOL!!)... as i would be left with only less than $15 on my BR to start up.

even if it not as successful as it can be... it was a good beginning for me. hope the next challenges that will take would be a success.

Sorry it took me a long time to update my blog. coz i had a really bad run these past few sng's. it started when i played cash games on full tilt to win their promo of "take 2". i was applying my cash game strategy to my sng and it ruined my game. i stopped playing the sng for a while and tried to complete the promo on full tilt first. tried to play a few sngs but still losing on some games. hope i can get my game back soon

i was really down a few days ago to about $97 when i was unable to cash on a couple of sngs.
i even tried one of those $2 quintuple shootout but was out on the first table immediately.
but it was a good game though. i think i would try to play that game again soon. lucky i
manage to pick up and cash 4/8 sngs these past 2 days and now im up again.

i noticed playing $1.75 18man sngs is not for me since i only cashed about 3 out of 12 games.
not very profitable for me but i still will try to play about 20% of my game on those. that
would mean i'll be playing 1($1.75)18man/4($1.10)45man.

Ok, now that i was able to double my BR from my $52 starting money i will start to play those $1.75 18player sng's. it took me a long time to reach this BR since i was not able to play much these last few weeks... my daughter, ameera, was hospitalized and needed to go surgery due to hirschsprungs disease. now im really inspired since i have to really make some money now and pay for those cost. she's my angel and wouldn't let anything happen to her! i will be playing at my best always on the following games... wish me luck!!!

My $1000 Challenge - Aug4

BR = $46.72

I was not able to update the blog on the last 3 days.... bcoz, i took a huge downswing and almost tilted me out!!! I played 10 games on a single name lost all of them! what a bad luck! I think 3 of them i positioned on the bubble. took a hard lesson not to call ALLIN with just a top in your hand... well i do hope that i can still keep it up and reach back to where i started. i thought this is just going to be a walk in the park... but damn! how the hell boku87 manage to make it playing with 50 sng's simultaneously!? he's not human!!! LOL!!

anyway, hope to reach at least $100 by the end of the week... Wish me luck everyone!!!

My $1000 Challenge

This is a challenge to myself (Boku87 style)!

I currently have $52 in my pokerstars bankroll

and i'll be playing all the games i could but will probably concentrate more on a 45 player SNG. My bankroll management is this...i will only play a certain limit when i have a BR > 50x the buyin for that limit.

Example:

$1 buyin X 50 = $50 <> PLAY
$3 buyin x 50 = $150 > my BR is $52 ---> DONT

so if my BR reached $150 that is the only time i will play the $3 buyin sng's.
im not sure if can do it the way boku87 does by playing 50 sngs at time... that is really sick!
my max mtt would probably be 4 tables at a time. and hopefully, i can play about a minimum
or 4 games a day. not sure when i can achieve the challenge tho at this rate. but i am hoping
that before october the challenge is done.

This is my current standing since i played this June.

not a good sight isn't it!? LOL! i did not follow my BR management on those downswings so
its my fault. anyway, i will be updating my blog everyday provided that i played. no play no
updates!!
